Google Maps

“How To Make Money From Google Maps”

by Peter Kroesche
Statistically speaking about Google and local search;
  • Over 2 BILLION local searches are performed online monthly!
  • Google gets 72% of all online search traffic.
  • 73% of all online activity is related to local content. (Google)
  • 1/3 of mobile search is locally based. (Google)
As you can see this is too good to miss. Either list your business in
Google Maps to generate traffic, get leads and make new sales.
or
You can charge local companies to get them listed in
Google Maps using the instructions below.
Getting listed on Google Maps is quick and easy.

First: Visit the Google maps local listing link - www.google.com/local/add.
If you don’t have a Google Account, it’s free to sign up for one.
Second: Fill in the form. Google will actually help to create a listing.
For example, it’ll ask you for your country and phone number.
Using this information, Google will quickly search to make sure
you’re not already listed. If not, it will then ask for more information
like website and address.
Third:  Add photos and video. You can upload up to five videos
about your self and your business.
Later you can upgrade your listing. There are actually several
things you can do, for free, that help generate interest
in your listing. The first two we’ve already mentioned:
photos and video. Reviews are also extremely valuable.
According to Google, reviews come from three sources,
“reviews written by Google Maps users, reviews sent to us
by third party providers and reviews collected from the web.”

Upgrading your listing is something you can do over time.
Add reviews. Add new videos and alternate promotions.
Google Maps is free and it may
turn out to be a very valuable profit generator.
Also you can learn what attracts people to your business,
Google offers an abundance of information including the
keywords people use to find your business.

Live your Best Life

My friends,
If you value life, then do not squander time.
For that is what life is made of - Benjamin Franklin

As we enter a new Decade, I just wanted to share some
of the principalsI gathered through the years as a scholar of life.
Just promise me this, after you’ve read this email,
take your self seriouslyand just go out there and take action,
follow through with your words andyou’ll see the universe
unfolding your dreams before your eyes.
This leads me to the first principle I wish to share with you,
this is the crucial check point in your path.

You must know what it is that you truly want
We all think that we know what we want, but think about it.
We aren’t talking about that car or those pair of shoes that temporally
becomes the object of your desires and after the initial “honeymoon”
period has worn off turn into a mode of transport and those shoes
become dust collectors? The moment is fleeting.
Make sure you know what you really want and just to be sure,
ask yourself why you want it and how your life would improve.

You must believe that you deserve it.
You are the only person in this whole world that is responsible for
you reach your full potential and achieve the things you want in life.
You must deem yourself worthy, otherwise you’re going nowhere.
You know you are capable of more than sitting in front of the hypnotic box.

As Napoleon Hill once said:
“There is a sure way to avoid criticism—be nothing and do
nothing. Get a job as a street sweeper and kill out ambition. The
remedy never fails.”

Take Action
Without this principle, 100% of all successful people would have failed.
The universe revolves around a single physical principle that is called
entropy, i.e. energy needs to be added to turn chaos into order.
It sounds deep, but all that it means is that you need to take action,
give your energy in order to bring about the things you want in your life.
The tried and true way to achieving or becoming anything you want
is taking action. If you can figure out a concrete goal to achieve,
consistently take the necessary steps towards that goal and
modify your approach every time you get a setback,
you will be the success that you read about.
This is the formula.
The only thing that differentiates those who succeed and those who
fail is how long you carry on trying.

Go on, go out and achieve, make 2011 the beginning of your
best decade!

Confused mind

The confused mind always says, "No."

Make your presentation simple. If your presentation is long and complicated,
most people will say "No" because they are afraid of what they don't understand.

I have see this happen and been guilty of this myself.
A sign to look for is when their eyes glass over.
Then you know you have been talking too much
instead of asking them what are their needs and wants.

If your presentation is too simple, your interested prospect will then
eagerly ask you for more information.

The simplest of course is to invite them to watch a DVD, read a brochure
or visit a web site.

Don't forget to follow up. Ask what liked about the information package.

Build Relationships

Why You Need to Build a Relationship Before People
Will Buy From You

Here's food for thought . . .

  • 48% of salespeople never follow up with a prospect
  • 25% of salespeople make a second contact and stop
  • 12% of salespeople only make three contacts and stop
  • Only 10% of salespeople make more than three contacts
  • 2% of sales are made on the first contact
  • 3% of sales are made on the second contact
  • 5% of sales are made on the third contact
  • 10% of sales are made on the fourth contact
  • 80% of sales are made on the fifth to twelfth contact

Enjoy the Journey

The story is told of a Navy commander who sailed his ship
out into the harbour one foggy morning. As they were
heading out to sea, his signalman came and said,
“We’re on collision course with a light.”

The commander then directed the signalman to send
the following message, “On collision course.
Move 10 degrees right.”

The signal came back, “Confirmed. We are on collision course.
You move 10 degrees right.”

The Navy commander with his rank was a little incensed.
He sent back this message, “I am a full Navy commander.
You move 10 degrees right.”

The message came back, “I am a signalman second class.
You move 10 degrees right.”

Finally the commander sent this message,
“I am in a battleship. You move 10 degrees right.”

The signal came back that said,
“ I am in a lighthouse. You move 10 degrees right.”

How many times do we allow our pride to prevent us
from seeing the big picture? How many people stubbornly
refuse to see the writing on the wall of economic shifts and implement a Plan B?

Don’t make that mistake. Keep your eyes open and your
heart humble to safely navigate through life.

Enjoy the Journey. :)

Networking recommended

Authors like Robert Kiyosaki, Brian Tracy, Donald Trump,
Infomercial giants Bill Guthy, Greg Renker, Steven K Scott,
Economist Paul Zane Plizer are a just a few of the accomplished
mega successful entrepreneurs, that publicly support being involved
with a Network Marketing opportunity.

According to the US Social Security Administration if you
followed any group of 100 people from the beginning of their
working careers over the next 4 decades
(till approximately their retirement age), here is where most will end up:
36 will be dead and 54 will be dead broke.
We’ve just covered 90% in this first stat!
5 will continue working beyond retirement age
because they need to in order to survive.
4 will be financially secure. Phew!
Only 1 out of the 100 will be wealthy. Not good!!

A Network Marketing Opportunity not only ‘levels’ the
playing field in terms of earning capacity, it allows your
unique talents to shine through and be rewarded.

Being involved with a Network Marketing opportunity
offers you the ability to be truly rewarded for your skills,
talents, leadership, drive and passion. Best of all, unlike the
traditional corporate world, you have a
team of people cheering for your success!

Friendly Marketing

I came across a story by Dr Adrian Wong.

Here is his story called Red Marbles:

I was at the corner grocery store buying some early potatoes.

I noticed a small boy, delicate of bone and feature, ragged but clean, hungrily appraising a basket of freshly picked green peas. I paid for my potatoes but was also drawn to the display of fresh green peas. I am a pushover for creamed peas and new potatoes. Pondering the peas, I couldn't help overhearing the conversation between Mr. Miller (the store owner) and the ragged boy next to me.

"Hello Barry, how are you today?"

"H'lo, Mr. Miller. Fine, thank ya. Jus' admirin' them peas. They sure look good."

"They are good, Barry. How's your Ma?"

"Fine. Gittin' stronger alla' time."

"Good.

Anything I can help you with?"

"No, Sir. Jus' admirin' them peas."

"Would you like to take some home?" asked Mr. Miller.

"No, Sir. Got nuthin' to pay for 'em with."

"Well, what have you to trade me for some of those peas?"

"All I got's my prize marble here."

"Is that right?

Let me see it" said Miller.

"Here 'tis. She's a dandy."

"I can see that. Hmmmmm, only thing is this one is blue and I sort of go for red. Do you have a red one like this at home?" the store owner asked.

"Not zackley but almost."

"Tell you what. Take this sack of peas home with you and next trip this way let me look at that red marble" . Mr. Miller told the boy.

"Sure will. Thanks Mr. Miller."

Mrs. Miller, who had been standing nearby, came over to help me.

With a smile she said, "There are two other boys like him in our community, all three are in very poor circumstances
Jim just loves to bargain with them for peas, apples, tomatoes, or whatever. When they come back with their red marbles, and they always do, he decides he doesn't like red after all and he sends them home with a bag of produce for a green marble or an orange one, when they come on their next trip to the store."

I left the store smiling to myself, impressed with this man.

A short time later I moved to Colorado, but I never forgot the story of this man, the boys, and their bartering for marbles.

Several years went by, each more rapid than the previous one. Just recently I had occasion to visit some old friends in that Idaho community and while I was there learned that Mr. Miller had died. They were having his visitation that evening and knowing my friends wanted to go, I agreed to accompany them. Upon arrival at the mortuary we fell into line to meet the relatives of the deceased and to offer whatever words of comfort we could

Ahead of us in line were three young men. One was in an army uniform and the other two wore nice haircuts, dark suits and white shirts...all very professional looking. They approached Mrs. Miller, standing composed and smiling by her husband's casket. Each of the young men hugged her, kissed her on the cheek, spoke briefly with her and moved on to the casket.

Her misty light blue eyes followed them as, one by one, each young man stopped briefly and placed his own warm hand over the cold pale hand in the casket. Each left the mortuary awkwardly, wiping his eyes.

Our turn came to meet Mrs. Miller. I told her who I was and reminded her of the story from those many years ago and what she had told me about her husband's bartering for marbles. With her eyes glistening, she took my hand and led me to the casket.

"Those three young men who just left were the boys I told you about. They just told me how they appreciated the things Jim "traded" them. Now, at last, when Jim could not change his mind about colour or size....they came to pay their debt."

"We've never had a great deal of the wealth of this world," she confided, "but right now, Jim would consider himself the richest man in Idaho ."

With loving gentleness she lifted the lifeless fingers of her deceased husband. Resting underneath were three exquisitely shined red marbles.

The Moral:

We will not be remembered by our words, but by our kind deeds.

Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath.

Save on YOUR Tax Return
and help others.

If your prospect has a W-2 job, or a small business,
they should know that by starting a home business
with you they can likely save enough on their taxes to
pay for their initial and monthly investment
for a life enhancing product.

Small Business has always been the backbone of our economies,
so, in my opinion, and I assume the bulk of the 100 million plus
Network Marketers who operate Small Home Based Businesses
Understand that the respectable MLM’s companies
will contribute to growth and prosperity.

The more money in circulation and the faster it circulates, the
stronger the economy becomes. Small businesses spend money to make money,
and then they spend more money to make more money.
So, the key to economic recovery is getting lots of businesses started quickly.
That's where we come in.

At the moment it seems like half the world is broke, and the
other half are afraid to spend the money they do have, so how do
we get a bunch of new small businesses going?

Share the benefits

You should always give YOUR PROSPECTIVE RECRUIT the
information about tax refunds that are available to them.
When they agree to start, and to run, a part time home-based business,
to run it with profit intent, and to keep adequate business records
they can find a world of difference in their taxes.

Most Governments world wide say, "If you do that, I'll cut your taxes by a
$ thousands or more every year, starting RIGHT NOW,
and furthermore, I'll let you collect part of your additional Tax Refund
every payday, (pay roll deductions) all year long – that could be
$ thousands per year, for the rest of your "job" working life!)

You must work your business every week, be able to show you're
trying to make a profit, and you must keep adequate business records.

Out of the many tax breaks for home-based businesses, here are some:

1/. Home Office Deduction. $/week
(this may even lets you write-off part of your RENT or mortgage!).

2/. Business-Use of Personal Vehicles (this may be your BIGGEST deduction, particularly if there is more than one person involved in the business)

3/. Hiring your own Children- Now that’s an incentive to make money.

4/. The proportion of your out-of-pocket computer, phone,
internet and stationary expenses that relate to your home business.

5/. Meals and Entertainment (this deduction, with receipts, is totally safe!,
check daily limits)

6/. Combining Business trips with Pleasure trips (vacations can become tax deductions)

7/. Any furniture that you use for your office.

Ask your tax accountant

Exactly what tax breaks are available to home-business owners?

Keep receipts, car log book, record keeping will help bullet-proof your Tax Returns.

Sharing this information with associates will help them see the larger picture
That proactive people see when they begin to develop a business plan.

Sharing information should improve your Recruiting,
Closing and Retention and should help motivated people to
join your business even if they're broke!

Honestly, can you really afford to wait?
The cost of not having a home-based business, and of not
understanding the tax benefits that come with it, is quite large.

P.S.: I use an Accountant, I am not an Accountant. I recommend that
you check this out with your accountant for current deduction and rules.

Let me know some of the benefits I forgot... Appreciate it....
